It would be impossible to exaggerate the importance to researchers of the rare and important Armenian sources which have been selected by Professor J.J.S. Weitenberg and preserved on over 8,000 fiche by IDC Publishers. These works, most published before 1930 in Armenian as well as a variety of Western languages, are indispensable for all those who are students of all aspect of Armenian life and culture before that date. Many are extremely difficult, if not impossible, to locate in public institutions.

The three volumes of fiche are maintained in the Armenian Cage materials of the Near East Section of the African and Middle Eastern Division of the Library of Congress and may be requested and used in that reading room by all registered readers. To facilitate your identification of those sources which may be of use in your research, we have provided below links to PDF versions of the three checklists which IDC issued with these volumes. The checklists are arranged alphabetically by author and provide the distinctive number of each published work which is needed for the item to be retrieved.

For further information on these sets or on individual works within them, please contact IDC Publishers directly who have generously allowed us to reproduce these guides.
