This is going to be a series of databases for the sports of football, baseball, hockey, and basketball (other sports may be added later). Data will be added over time, but baseball data is from the Lahman Baseball Database is part of this database. It contains individual and team statistics from 1871 to present. Women's basketball data from 1996 through the 2012 and men's hockey covers the following early and alternative leagues: NHA, PCHA, WCHL (known as the WHL in its final year), and WHA. It contains individual and team statistics from 1909-10 through the 2011-12 season. Men's basketball and football are supposed to be added in 2013.
