It also contains directories of North and South Korean governments, foreign diplomatic missions as well as business firms. A useful guide to foreigners who are contemplating doing business in Korea.

    Covers thousands of publicly traded and privately owned companies, major economic organizations, domestic and foreign banks in Korea, as well as foreign diplomatic missions in Korea. In addition to general directory types of information, this book also contains chaptes addressing many aspects of conducting business in Korea, such as economic review and policies, trade policy and tariff system, taxation, industry review, foreign direct investment, labor laws, financial systems and market liberalization.

    Information in this directory is organized in four categories: index to commodities, list of firms, financing and service industries and economic organizations.

    Comprehensive information on Korean trading companies and their products, covering almost 34,000 products, 50,000 companies, and hundreds of trade-service organizations. It consists of three sections. Section 1 is a product index, providing an alphabetical list of products available for manufacturing, exporting, and importing. Section 2 provides company information, each entry covering company name, address, telephone, and fax number, its products, as well as exports and imports. Section 3 provides information on service industries, covering organizations which provide trade-related services, such as trade organizations, foreign embassies in Korea, Korean diplomatic missions aborad, foreign and Korean banks, major airlines, and hotels.
