Subscription Databases available at the Library of Congress
for Business, Economics, and Industry Research
For a general list of business-related subscription databases available at the Library of Congress see http://eresources.loc.gov/search~S9/m?SEARCH=Business+Reference+Services. For specific topics within business, see the listings below.
Please note that access to these subscription databases is limited to users who are on site at the Library of Congress. Unless otherwise noted, web-based electronic resources to
which the Library of Congress subscribes may be accessed
from public PC's with Internet access in any Library of
Congress reading room or from your own laptop using wireless access available to onsite users in Library of Congress public reading rooms.
For convenience of users, the list of subscription databases includes a few selected freely available web resources. For a fuller list of Internet resources selected by the business reference staff, please see our BeOnline Internet Subject Guides.
The resources on both pages have been selected to offer
researchers access to a balance of regional, national, and
international business information sources. Many offer
newly flexible ways of searching for periodical articles in
business magazines, trade journals, newspapers, and
newsletters. Others feature direct and flexible access to
information regarding specific companies and industries.
