Above are links to a digitial version of the book Visual Arts in Poland: an Annotated Bibliography of Selected Holdings in the Library of Congress, compiled by Janina W. Hoskins, the Polish Area Specialist in the Library's Slavic and later European Division from 1952-1991. Published in 1993, the book contains 868 selected entries organized by subject into eleven chapters, five of which are subdivided into topical sections. Included are many colorful illustrations and an alphabetical index of names. This book is a valuable source for researchers in the field of Polish art.

The Library of Congress holds in its collections excellent resources on the visual arts in Poland: their history, development, and interactions with the arts and artists of other lands and cultures. The purpose of the book is to introduce the researcher to these materials and to provide guidance in their use.
