Formed in 1986, British Friends of Vanuatu aims to help bridge the gap between the United Kingdom and the Republic of Vanuatu by offering assistance and hospitality to ni-Vanuatu Islanders in the United Kingdom, encouraging Pacific studies in the United Kingdom, and publicizing Vanuatu arts, crafts and culture active. It is particularly active in the field of education. Its web site provides information about its events, educational project, other projects and Chevening scholars.

The Indo-Pacific Conservation Alliance  (http://www.indopacific.org)
Founded in 1998, the Indo-Pacific Conservation Alliance aims to study and conserve the native ecosystems of the tropical Indo-Pacific region, and to support traditional peoples in their stewardship of these globally significant natural resources.
