This site features a program within the Ministry of Health of Brazil, created to provide the maximum information abotu AIDS. It provides links to different sections such as Prevention; Assistance; Human Rights; Library;and so on. It also provides related Links to International Organizations, Governmental Institutions, and some others. Mostly in Portuguese.

HIV/AIDS PROFILE: BRAZIL  (http://www.census.gov/ipc/hiv/brazil.pdf)
The Census Bureau of the U.S. Department of Commerce presents demographic data on HIV/AIDS in Brazil. The bureau includes epidemiological data, including data on HIV in pregnant women, HIV in blood donors, and HIV in patients with sexually transmitted diseases (STD), HIV in drug users, and HIV in sex workers in Brazil.

The Pan-American Health Organization (Regional Office for the Americas of the World Health Organization)aims to improve the health conditions in the Americas. It provides access to Virtual Libraries specialized in Health. The RNIS features the Network of Health Information Centers. It is a project created by the Ministry of Health of Brazil, which aims to collect all the information about health and area studies in the whole country. It facilitates the information's exchange among all the regions or in Brazil. In Portuguese.
