GRUPO LOBO  (http://lobo.fc.ul.pt)
Grupo Lobo is an independent and non-profit association that was founded in 1985 to work for the conservation of the Wolf and its habitat in Portugal, where the wolf is in danger of extinction. One of the main objectives is the dissemination of accurate information about this misunderstood and persecuted predator. Further initiatives include field research about wolf biology and ecology. Grupo Lobo is also responsible for the management of the Iberian Wolf Recovery Centre (IWRC), where disabled/wounded wolves, or wolves kept in deficient captivity conditions, are homed, cared for and studied. The IWRC has an international volunteer's program for those who are interested in participating in the Centre activities, as well as an adoption program for the wolves that live there. Includes information about the Group, wolves, wolves around the world, the project "Signatus", bibliographies, genealogy, contact, links, images, adoptions and cooperation, shopping, and more. PROJECTO PEOPLE : LISBOA  (http://www.people-pt.net)
Population Exposure to Air Pollutants in Europe. The PEOPLE project in Lisbon, Portugal aims to support health impact assessment. An important facet of the project is awareness raising campaigns in participating cities organised with the involvement of citizens, scientists, decision makers and the media.
