Archives of Australia
Online gateway to archival repositories, maintained by the National Archives of Australia. Resources include an online directory by state and territory and a guide to records concerning indigenous Australians.
National Archives of Australia
Information about the main repository of Australian federal government records and other primary source materials. RecordSearch is a partial online catalog of the collections, while PhotoSearch is a catalog of the Archives' image collections. Among other features, there are sections on records relating to Australian prime ministers and indigenous Australians.
State Records Authority of New South Wales
Website for the archival repository of official government records for Australia's largest state, and the original British colony on the Australian continent. The Concise Guide to the State Archives gives an overview of the agency's holdings. Researchers can use an online catalog, Archives Investigator, for fielded searches of the Authority's holdings.
