Australian Music Centre
Provides support and resources for composers, musicians, music educators, and researchers. The website includes a listing of institutions offering post-secondary music education and biographical information about contemporary Australian composers.
Australian Rock Database
Free online database from a self-described "slightly obsessed Swedish fan." The database includes entries for groups, individual musicians, and producers, and can be browsed alphabetically or searched by keyword. Advertiser-supported and Frames-based.
Music Council of Australia
Organization for the promotion of Australian music. Provides various online directories and recent statistics (in PDF format) relating to music education and employment.
Sydney Conservatorium of Music
The website for this music conservatory includes a brief history, information for current and prospective students, and other resources. Once an independent institution (the New South Wales Conservatorium of Music), the Conservatorium is now part of the University of Sydney.
