Notable strengths of the Library collections include Canadian newspapers, Canadian city directories, rare books, music, literary manuscripts and Canadian literature. The site includes general information about the collections, publications, exhibitions, and information on genealogical research. AMICUS is a free online search service which includes access to the national bibliography and the Library's online catalog. In French and English.

Official website for Québec's major library and archives, which serves as the legal deposit (copyright) depository for Québec. The multi-format collections cover all subjects but emphasize publications from and about Québec. The online catalog, IRIS, is freely available. In French, with English and Spanish versions.
