Auckland War Memorial Museum
New Zealand's oldest museum, functioning as both a war memorial and a natural history museum. Includes a history of the institution, a description of the museum collections, and information on Maori history.
Museum of New Zealand/Te Papa Tongarewa
New Zealand's national museum, located in Wellington. The website (in English and Maori) includes subject-based collection overviews, a listing of staff publications, a small online sampling of the Museum's image collection, and many other features.
New Zealand Museums
Searchable portal to the nation's museum collections, maintained by the Museum of New Zealand. Users can search by type of collection, region, or keyword.
New Zealand National Maritime Museum
The museum sponsors a number of research initiatives, including the New Zealand Maritime Index of print publications relating to New Zealand maritime history; and the New Zealand Maritime Record of ship histories, most with images.
New Zealand Rugby Museum
