Provides search tips and detailed collection summaries of the Library of Congress's
multiformat holdings on women's history with links to catalog record descriptions
and digitized material. Gives information on visiting
the Library of Congress to do research and using
the Library's website.

Provides briefly annotated citations to print sources and links to Internet sources,
including large primary source collections.
- Center for American Women and Politics
The "Fast Facts" area of this site contains current information on women in elective office at the national and state levels. There are also fact sheets on "Women of Color in Elective Office ."
- Her Hat Was In the Ring
This site offers a database of women who "campaigned for elected public office before the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution in August of 1920." The database allows you to search or browse by name, state/territory, office and political party.
- Latinas in History: an interactive project
This project is directed by Vicki L. Ruiz and Virginia Sánchez Korrol, two well-known Latina Studies scholars. The website is intended for use by middle and high school students and their teachers. It offers a timeline, brief biographies (with links when available to supplemental materials) and "A Historical and Regional Overview of Latinas in the United States."

The Women's Bureau of the U.S. Department of Labor promotes the welfare of wage earning women. The site includes the history and the organizational structure of the Bureau and highlights the strategic plan of the Bureau, press releases, fact sheets about women in the workplace (including statistics), and the Bureau's programs and activities.
