The earliest issue located of The Edenton intelligencer, is that of Apr. 9, 1788. The issue of Apr. 9, 1788, spells "Inteligencer" incorrectly in the title; although, this is probably a typographical error, for the correct spelling appears elsewhere in the same issue. The only other issue located is that of June 4, 1788. Maurice Murphy.
