Note: Continues The Philadelphia minerava. In the issue of July 14, 1798, the word "dessert" was spelled "desert" in the title. With the issue of July 28, 1798, the title was corrected to The Dessert to the true American. Published as a weekly literary supplement to The True American and commercial advertiser. The last issue located is that of Aug. 19, 1799.
