Note: Continuation of The Norfolk herald, & public advertiser. For a brief period (during which time the publication was issued daily) between Dec. 1-20, 1800, the title became: Norfolk herald, and daily advertiser. With the issue of Dec. 22, 1800, title again became Norfolk herald. In 1804, the title was continued by O'Connor's Norfolk and Portsmouth herald.

Publisher: Charles Willett and James O'Connor.

Periodicity varies: Feb. 20, 1798-Nov. 29, 1800, tri-weekly. Dec. 1-20, 1800, daily. Dec. 22, 1800+, tri-weekly.
