Send Saved Documents from a Thin Client

Step 1:
Do a search on a database and get something to save.
If it is pdf, click the embedded Adobe save button. (It is usually slightly above mid-screen, below the usual file/save choice at the top).
Click the icon for the computer you are on (eg "SER11 System Folder," the one I was on when I did this.)
Name your file, then click "Open." (In thin client parlance "open" seems to mean save, get, whatever you want to do at the moment.)
I saved it in the "my documents" folder. You will have to click "Open" again.

Step 2:
Open another tab and go to an online e-mail account; Yahoo, Gmail, etc.
Send a message to yourself and attach the file from the "my documents" folder.
