In 1873 stereographs from the first two years of George M. Wheeler's expedition were published by E. & H. T. Anthony & Company. Timothy H. O'Sullivan's 1871 stereographs of the Colorado River are included in this set. To make the series complete, also included are William Bell's 1872 views of Utah, the Colorado River, and geological series. The stereos are numbered irregularly. Titles are transcribed exactly as printed on the mounts. The stereographs are albumen silver prints on four-by-seven-inch mounts.
