Podcasts, Webcasts & Other Digital Media Files

Podcast - A collection of digital media files distributed over the Internet, often using syndication feeds, for playback on portable media players and personal computers. The word, like radio, can refer either to the content itself or to the method by which it is syndicated; the latter is also called podcasting.

Webcast - A media file distributed over the Internet using streaming media technology; a webcast may be distributed live or recorded. Essentially, webcasting is broadcasting over the Internet.
