The Core List ([email protected]) is an unmoderated computer forum open to members of the VRA Core development community. It is operated by the Library of Congress Network Development and MARC Standards Office. Users may subscribe by filling out the subscription form at the VRACORE Listserv site.

The VRA Core is a data standard for the description of works of visual culture as well as the images that document them. The standard is hosted by the Network Development and MARC Standards Office of the Library of Congress (LC) in partnership with the Visual Resources Association.
