Summer Berry Pie America, North: Scandavian

I grew up in Oregon which has a large berry crop each summer. My family made this dessert nearly every week while I was growing up because of our garden had an abundance of berries. When my brother was five years old, he said, "I only know how to cook Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and summer berry pie!"
Ingredients 1 cup of sugar 3 TBL cornstarch 1 1/2 Cups Water 1 pkg Red Jello (cherry, watermelon, berry) 1 cup each of blueberries, raspberries, sliced strawberries 1 Graham cracker pie crust Cool whip	Preparation Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan and stir in water until smooth. Continually stir until boiling (continue rolling boil for 1 full minute), remove from heat. Stir in jello powder mix and stir until jello is completely dissolved. Cool to room temperature. Stir in the three cups of berries. Pour into pie crust. Refrigerate for 3 hours. Garnish with berries, cool whip, or mint.
