This recipe is important, because it's focus is to bring good healthy eating into the home. Many African Americans are suffering from high blood pressure, and heart diseases. This form of eating will promote strong healthy bodies, and over-all vitality in every day living. It is important to know what we are eating. God has blessed the earth with good life giving foods , and we need to nourish our bodies with these unprocess foods. Foods that are packed with sugars, salts, fillers(starches,fats,etc.) can cause our bodies many ills. When we eat right and enjoy a life-style of healthy eating,we can live our purpose, as God intended. Be blessed with energy, peace, joy and vitality in healthy living!

Ingredients

Fresh Wild Salmon(not farm raised)White fish can be used
Mrs. Dash seasons (many flavors to pick from)I like the hot and spicy, and lemon pepper.
Pam (use olive oil)
Fresh veggies (broccoli-slaw, sliced carrots, onions, large portabella mushrooms, yellow and green squash, mixture of green, yellow and red bell peppers, sliced tomatoes, and shredded red cabbage. Balsamic Vinaigrette. Optional, small amount of cheese (if I use any I use soy cheese)

Preparation

This recipe can be prepared for the grill or the oven. I like using the grill. Spray the bottom of your pan with the pam.Clean the mushrooms,removing the stems. Place the caps into the pan (top side down because you will be filling the mushrooms with the ingredients). Place a tomato slice into each mushroom (if you are using the cheese, sprinkle small amounts on the tomatoes). In a bowl, mix together your veggies and then put a tablespoon of this mixture on top of the tomato. Drizzle with the balsamic vinaigrette. Rinse off your fish, sprinkle with Mrs.Dash seasons, spray on some pam (or other brand), and drizzle with Vinaigrette(optional). Grill (med.) until fresh flakes, and veggies are tender. Any remaining veggies can be placed along side of fish and cooked. When presenting this colorful and tasty dish, serve some fresh fruits. The colors will delight the eyes, and the taste will please the soul. Slice some strawberries, kiwi, and oranges(your choice). Place a mushroom on the plate, some fish and sliced fruit, and enjoy!
