When I was a little girl, I was a very picky eater. One thing that I always loved was my dad's smoothie creations. He could make just about any kind of smoothie.
There are ingredients my dad would call the "essentials." I will call them the "base" for the smoothie you desire. If you want to make one of his smoothies, you will need:
a couple tablespoons of coconut cream
2 cups of ice cream
1 and 1/2 cups of ice
1 cup of milk
3/4 cup of pineapple juice
In addition, you will need the fruit for the type of smoothie you are making. (One of my favorite smoothies using this base is strawberry- banana.)
After you have selected the type of fruit you desire, add all the ingredients to the blender. Blend until smooth.
