Bubble Bread Breakfast Treat

Every Christmas we have this for breakfast. It is a special occasion food because preparation takes a long time and some work. We make the toppings on Christmas Eve, and then in the morning we bake it and enjoy. My grandmother always makes this because she is a Southern cook and likes to make special dishes for her family. We always go back and forth eating cinnamon rolls, and then opening presents.

Ingredients

24 frozen dinner rolls
1 cup of brown sugar
1 3 3/4-ounce box regular butterscotch pudding mix (NOT INSTANT)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1/2 cup melted butter

Preparation

1. Grease and flour Bundt cake pan
2. Place frozen rolls in pan
3. Mix brown sugar and pudding mix; sprinkle over rolls
4. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over brown sugar pudding mixture
5. Add pecans or walnuts over this
6. Pour melted butter over pecans or walnuts
7. Place on cabinet or countertop overnight; DO NOT COVER
8. The next morning, bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
9. Let sit in pan 10-15 minutes, then turn out
10 Slice or pull apart
