The Asian Division and The Chinese American Librarians Association, Greater Mid-Atlantic Chapter, presented a lecture given by Associate Librarian for Library Services Deanna Marcum.
Speaker Biography: Before joining the Library of Congress as Associate Librarian for Library Services, Deanna Marcum was the president of the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR), which was formed by the merger of the Commission on Preservation and Access and the Council on Library Resources. She also served as Dean of the School of Library and Information Science at The Catholic University of America from 1982-92. Marcum holds a Ph.D. in American Studies, a master's degree in Library Science and a bachelor's degree in English.
