Speaker Biography: Douglas L. Wilson, co-director of the Lincoln Studies Center at Knox College, is a two-time winner of the prestigious Lincoln Prize. He received the prize in 1999 for "Honor's Voice: The Transformation of Abraham Lincoln" and in 2007 for "Lincoln's Sword: The Presidency and the Power of Words" (Knopf, 2006). His work on Lincoln has also appeared in Atlantic Monthly, American Heritage, and Time, as well as other magazines and scholarly journals. He lives in Galesburg, Illinois.
