The African and Middle Eastern Division of the Library of Congress is sponsoring a series of lectures on Iraq history and society. Juan Romero delivered the first of a two-part lecture based on research for an upcoming book. The first lecture was titled "The Iraq Monarchy: A British Experiment in Nation Building."
Speaker Biography: Juan Romero is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University's Center for Contemporary Arab Studies.
