Annie Barrows appears on the Family Storytelling Stage at the 2012 Library of Congress National Book Festival.
Speaker Biography: Annie Barrows is the author of the New York Times best-selling Ivy and Bean series (more than 2 million books in the series sold) and the co-author of the New York Times best-seller "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society." Barrows grew up in Northern California and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in medieval history. Unable to find a job in the Middle Ages, she decided upon a career as a book editor. After earning an M.F.A. in creative writing, Barrows began her writing career. Her new book is "Ivy & Bean Make the Rules (Book 9)."
