The Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC) Secretariat presents 26 webcasts as a portion of an online course created and intended for Spanish-speaking independent AACR2 Name Authority Cooperative Program (NACO) participants who are making the transition to RDA: Resource Description and Access for authority work. The course consists of filmed lectures, hands-on guided sessions, online exercises, and follow-up Q&A webinars, with a brief review period following the successful completion of the modules. Speaker Biography: Paul Frank is cooperative cataloging specialist in the Library of Congress Cooperative Programs Section. He trains catalogers in name authority practices nationally and internationally and is actively working on the transition to RDA: Resource Description & Access.
Speaker Biography: Ana Lupe Cristán is cooperative programs specialist in the Library of Congress Policy and Standards Division. She is an experienced name authorities trainer and has been active in preparing for the transition to RDA: Resource Description & Access, both at the Library of Congress and traveling to Latin America to present training seminars. She also serves on American Library Association and Program for Cooperative Cataloging RDA implementation task groups.
