Tampico, Illinois, 1910

Tampico, Illinois was founded in 1856 by John W. Glassburn and was incorporated in 1875. It is an agricultural region producing mainly grain and noted for the number of Amish-Mennonite families who have settled in the area. President Ronald Reagan was born here on February 6, 1911.
