Surplus Serials Policy Changes

The Library of Congress has announced that it will no longer accept surplus unbound serials from Federal agencies, except for the following titles:

1. Agricultural Research
2. Economic Indictors
3. Energy Research Abstracts
4. Government Reports Announcem,ents & Index
5. Journal of Research of the National Institute of Standards and Technology
6. Journal of National Cancer Institute
7. Monthly Catalog of U.S. Government Publications
8. Monthly Labor Review
9. Public Health Reports
10. Resources in Education
11. Scientific and Technical Aerospace Reports
12. Survey of current Business

Prior to shipment, quesitons concerning the usefulness of an agency's surplus library materials should be directed to the Exchange and Gift Division, Receiving & Routing Section (202) 707- 9511.
