Veterans Day Holiday Hours of Operation
The Great Hall, exhibitions and the Library Shop within the Thomas Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress will be will be open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009.
Visitors may enter the Jefferson Building after 8:30 a.m. via the upper or lower level First Street S.E. entrances, as well as the Capitol Visitors Center tunnel. All other entrances, exits and tunnels will be closed.
In observance of the federal Veterans Day holiday, all other Library buildings and reading rooms will be closed. All Library of Congress facilities are closed on Sundays. Normal access to all Library buildings will resume on Thursday, Nov. 12.
