File Names and MINARET 856 fields for Digitized Gottlieb Collection Material
MINARET Records
- The bibliographic description of each Gottlieb collection item
being digitized will be carried in a MINARET record.
- The 300 field will describe the original item. For photographs such
as those in the Gottlieb collection, this is usually the negative.
- There will be a 530 note field indicating the availability
of the work in digital form.
- There will be an 856 field for each variant form of the work
that has been digitized.
- 856 fields for Gottlieb materials will be modeled after
the 856 fields set up by P&P for photographic material.
- Each 856 field will contain the following subfields:

with annotation, and published print. |
