According to Subject Cataloging Manual: Subject Headings, H373, sec.3, for headings that are based on another heading, UF references are not added that would duplicate references on the basic heading. Since the UF Cuisine already appears on the heading Cookery, the proposal to add UF Chinese cuisine on the heading Cookery, Chinese was not approved.
German literature--Comic book adaptations
The work being cataloged is an adaptation of a single novel so that this heading would be too broad for the work. The proposal was not approved.
Maximalists
