Collection of field recordings of Pawnee songs and spoken word, recorded by Frances Densmore in 1919-1920 among members of the Skidi and Chaui Bands near Pawnee, Oklahoma. The principal singers she recorded were Mr. and Mrs. Wicita Blain, John Luwak, Horse Chief, and Dog Chief. In 1929, she published transcriptions and analyses in "Pawnee Music," Bureau of American Ethnology Bulletin 93.
