[The opera premiered in 1886 in Saint Petersburg.]

Music by Anatoly Liadov; sets and costumes by Mikhail Larionov; choreography by Léonide Massine; premiere on 25 August 1916, Teatro Eugenia-Victoria, San Sebastián. [In 1917 Kikimora was subsumed into a new work called Contes Russes.]
