    1,047 Civil War photographs from the Library of Congress's collection were originally published as a microfilm in 1961. This publication serves as the catalog for the microfilm, listing titles, dates, and copy negative numbers for each image. The microfilm and an accompanying index were the work of two Library of Congress staff members: Hirst D. Milhollen of the Prints and Photographs Division and Donald H.
