This is a collection of select industry association websites. Industry associations produce original content such as reports, statistics, and information on industry trends and advocacy work by associations, which often reflect national and global events through the lens of their industries. There are a vast number of industry and trade associations, so this collection is a sample of groups that are primarily based in the United States or international industry associations in which major United States companies participate. The collection began by concentrating on industries covered in the Business Section research guides, and is currently expanding. Association names can change over time or merge to form new associations, so it may be necessary to look under previous names. When applicable, the item description attempts to capture name changes or mergers.

Collection Period: This collection began in September 2022 and continues to the present (this is an ongoing archive). Some of these websites were captured by earlier collections and have older captures going as far back as 2002. New sites collected are still under embargo and will appear in the collection as they are crawled and released.

Frequency of Collection: The majority of sites in the collection were added to crawl on a quarterly basis, with fewer added to crawl on a monthly basis or once.

Languages: Collection material in English.

Acquisition Information: Sites have been added incrementally since the project began and will continue to be added as they are identified.
