With melodies composed by James Paisible, the collection contains six ballroom dances: "The Richman," "The Rondeau," "The Rigadoon," "The Favorite," "The Spanheim," and "The Britannia." In this treatise of two parts, Tomlinson (c. 1690-1753?) sets forth the principles of Baroque dance.
