About this Collection
The World War I Centennial Web Archive is a collection of websites presenting various projects and events commemorating the 100th anniversary of the United States involvement in the First World War. It is not meant to act as a warehouse of informational websites about the war. It does not include the many non-U.S. based commemorative websites created for this important anniversary. This web archive of about 50 websites will serve as a useful tool for researchers in studying American society and World War I by showing examples of American war memorialization.

Frequency of Collection: The majority of sites in the collection were targeted for capture once or monthly, with fewer sites targeted for capture weekly, quarterly, twice-yearly, or yearly.
