An eloquent advocate for early music, Richard Egarr brings a joyful sense of adventure to all his music-making. Director of the Academy of Ancient Music, he appears often as guest conductor with such ensembles as the London Symphony and the Royal Concertgebouw. He displays a scholar’s perception, humor and a virtuosic flair in this program of 17th-century English keyboard masters.
