Biography Thomas Rid
Thomas Rid is professor of strategic studies at Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies. Previously, he was a professor of security studies in the Department of War Studies at King’s College, London. His most recent book is “Active Measures: The Secret History of Disinformation and Political Warfare” (Farrar, Straus & Giroux). It exposes some of the century’s most significant disinformation operations for the first time and provides tools to cut through the deception.
