Ann Druyan is an Emmy and Peabody Award winner, receiving recognition for her work in the field of science. She co-wrote the PBS series “Cosmos,” which featured her husband, Carl Sagan, to whom she was married from 1981 until his death in 1996. Druyan also was the creative force behind “Cosmos: Possible Worlds,” the “Cosmos” sequel. She is the author of the recent book of the same name, “Cosmos: Possible Worlds” (National Geographic). Druyan was creative director of the two golden discs attached to NASA’s Voyager 1 and 2 as part of the Voyager Interstellar Message Project.
