Michael J. Fox is an author, actor and advocate whose professional career has spanned more than 30 years. In 2000, Fox founded the Michael J. Fox Foundation in support of finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease, a degenerative neurological condition, which he was diagnosed with in 1991. Fox’s books, including “Always Looking Up: The Adventures of an Incurable Optimist” and “Lucky Man: A Memoir,” provide his perspective with finding hope, opportunity and inspiration in the challenging experiences of life. His newest book, the instant New York Times bestseller, “No Time Like the Future: An Optimist Considers Mortality” (Flatiron), shares Fox’s personal stories and reflections about life, illness and health, mortality and the strength of families and friends.
