Sam Winston is a writer and visual artist known for his work in drawing, typography and artists' books. His work is held in many special collections worldwide, including New York’s Museum of Modern Art, the Getty Research Institute, the Tate Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Winston’s work also is collected by the Library of Congress and commissioned by the New York Times. He created the Bologna Ragazzi Award-winning “A Child of Books” with Oliver Jeffers and is the author and illustrator of “One and Everything.” His new picture book with Jeffers, “The Dictionary Story,” is featured at the 2024 National Book Festival.
