Eric Deggans is a TV critic, media analyst and guest host at National Public Radio (NPR). He is an adjunct instructor at Duke University and Indiana University, as well as a guest instructor and National Advisory Board member at the Poynter Institute for Media Studies. In April 2024, he was inducted into the Indiana Journalism Hall of Fame. He is also the author of “Race-Baiter: How the Media Wields Dangerous Words to Divide a Nation,” published in October 2012 by Palgrave Macmillan.
