Small Press Expo
Small Press Expo
In 1994, Small Press Expo hosted its first festival in Bethesda. Cartoonist Jason Little, in 2002, offered voyeuristic insight into what guests might experience by attending, including “sensitive guys” and “décolletage.” In 2011, the Library of Congress and SPX forged a partnership, acknowledging the importance to acquire, preserve, and make accessible independently produced graphic novels, comic strips, minicomics, web comics, posters, drawings, and ephemera to the Library’s researchers.
