This half-sheet newspaper ad featuring Babe Ruth listed a variety of “premium” collectible items that could be obtained by sending in cereal box tops as proof of purchase. The Geppi collection includes many premiums related to comics, sports, television, and other areas. Celebrities such as Babe Ruth licensed their image to sell products and collectibles that increased fan engagement and created a market for yet more selling opportunities.
