Action Comics

When Action Comics no. 1 debuted in 1938, and introduced the character Superman, the Golden Age of Comics (1938–1950s) and the comic book superhero, was born. This issue features a Bronze Age of Comics (1970s–1985) retelling of the origins of Superman, along with the history of Action Comics. One of the longest running series in comics history, Action Comics published its one thousandth issue in 2018.
