Black Panther

After debuting in Fantastic Four, no. 52 (July 1966), Black Panther made guest appearances in various Marvel Series before starring in Jungle Action beginning in 1973. Black Panther’s first self-titled series debuted in 1977, written and drawn by original co-creator, legendary comic book artist Jack Kirby. Most recently, the 2016 Black Panther series has been written by award-winning author Ta-Nehisi Coates and drawn by Eisner Award nominated artist Brian Stelfreeze. This series and the award winning Black Panther film (2018), has sparked renewed worldwide interest in one of comics’ earliest Black superheroes.
